Gavin and his Dad

Dave is the bomb! He is the best Dad and loves to hold and stuggle with Gavin. Gavin is five weeks now and it shows. He is holding his head up a lot more and is more alert all the time. We are alway trying to get him to laugh and that just makes him look worried!

Arden reads a bedtime story to Alexis and Gavin

Alexis was all over this, a baby in her arms and a story!

Piano

Arden would never tell you that she loves to play the piano, she would tell you that she hates it. I told her that she has to take piano for the next ten years and I thought she was going to have a coniption. So we started lessons yesterday with me as her teacher, when the lesson was over with I told her she was done and that she could stop playing when ever she wanted. She kept playing and playing!

Soccer

You know you're are crazy when you go two soccor games, one at 8am and the other at 12:40pm. Arden's game was even played in the rain, she was goaly for the first quarter and played like a pro, she seemed to think it was fun to get wet. Dave is Alexis's coach, and Alexis thinks that is pretty cool, now if Dave can get her really want to play! She just thinks she looks good in her green uniform running around smiling, and she does!

Lake Mary

We went to Lake Mary today, it way kinda like not being in Flagstaff at all. I was imagining the whole time that we were really at the beach. I swear I spend way to much time sheltered in Bellemont, as if I have confined myself to this overbuilt meadow where we all live with giant play pens for back yards. The overcast weather is dreamy to me, it makes me want to read on the patio and eat bon bons!

My kids had so much fun, they didn't even want to leave to get pizza at Sam's Club. They caught dragon flies, butterflies and slugs. Arden picked me flowers that were growing in the marshy part of the lake. Spencer fished the entire time with no sucess since there was no hook or real bait. Alexis sang her own songs and walked around with the red umberella as if the world were magic, and it was while we were there!

Gavin''s Baby Blessing

Gavin was blessed today; July 6, 2008 it was a beautiful blessing. He looked great in his blessing outfit and was so good. I'll probably dress him up again and take more photos some morning when I get a chance. I can't believe he is already a month old.

Fourth of July Parade

As you can tell I don't really get into taking pics of the parade, just my kids. I wish I had taken a pic of all my kids with their hands on their hearts when the American Flag came by, it would have been a great picture! We love America!

Spencer's Haircut

This is the shortest haircut Spencer has had since he was 2 months old. He looks so grown up and super handsome. I like it more than I thought I would. We surprised Dave and the girls. They love it. Alexis told Spencer that he doesn't look like one of us now, that was funny!

Haus

Gavin had his 4 week check up this morning at the pediatrition's office with Dr. McGary. He is now 10 lbs 4 oz, what a haus! He is in the 90th persentile for weight and the 95th for length. Way to go little Haus!

Arden's swim meet in Prescott

Arden is a born swimmer, she has been on the Williams Swim Team this summer and has really taken off as a swimmer. She absolutely loves being on the team and has made some good friends. The coaches treat Arden like she is a million bucks and have really helped her make some improvements. Arden is the youngest swimmer on the team! When Arden is racing she is smiling the whole time.
