I think we just really needed to get out of the house and into nature, so we found ourselves in Oak Creek. We told the kids we were going hiking. As soon as we got there Gavin walked right into the freezing cold water. Before we knew it Gavin had gone down with Alexis into the water, completely submerged from head to toe. She said she slipped while holding him. Not quite what we were looking for in a hiking trip in the great outdoors, but it made for a good journal entry!

That explains it! I wondered why Gav was crying in one of the photos! Adorable family and beautiful photos. Love the soft blue shadows!
