Crazy Family
There is something really special about trying to take your own family photo with the remote, its called "crazy." So here we are a complele bundle of laughs and poor lighting, but that was us last sunday morning. Believe it or not, this is the best of many photos we took, I am going to have to really hire Jen Faucet to take some real photos, ones we can actually brag about! Maybe when we are in Utah Jen!
I love having four kids, I really don't think it is that big of a deal, especially since this is my biggest gap between kids; 3.5 yrs. It's awesome how they all love baby Gavin, they are all over him. Gavin has a wonderful little spirit that we just needed to complete us. It's also quit a libererating thought to think that this really is our complete family. Who knows what will happen in the future, but now I am so happy with what I have, I feel so blessed and so happy. Life isn't perfect, but I really don't think it could get much better, unless we were all on vacation on some beautiful tropical island!

Moses, King, or Gavin?
Gavin was so patient with me while taking these pics. My friend Jen gave this hat to Spencer when he was a baby, I love it because it really makes me laugh, I put it on him a lot. I get the laughs a lot after I have a baby, I think it is because I am so excited to be done with pregnancy and well cabin fever might make one laugh at anything!

Gavin's First Smile @ 5 days old!
I can't believe I caught this on camera. Gavin's was just cooing and totally chilling on Dave's shoulder and he was making the cutest little faces and noises. He is 5 days old tonight. I think this kid is going to have a sense of humor, he is going to make us all laugh and be so happy, I just know it. This is pretty good considering he had his first appointment at the pediatrions office today, and ya know how that can go! What a happy boy, I am so excited for more smiles. The kids were asking when he was going to smile for us. They will be so happy to see this!

Mirror Photos
Whats up with having a new baby and an Alexis with a fever?
Gorgeous Gavin
I am just having so much fun taking pictures of him. Tomorrow I might break out a real back drop and get serious. Maybe buy some good photo software and get busy taking better photos! I've been flashing off the ceiling a lot so I don't freak Gavin out with the flash! I have a few days with no other kids just baby, this could be fun! Nap, eat, nurse, photos! Nap, eat, nurse, photos!
Gavin Bridger Lott
intoducing Gavin Bridger Lott.
This is probably a big surprise to all, since we've haven't really mentioned the names. Dave and I have been loosing sleep, thinking about a name. So here is Gavin. Gavin means little hawk, and Bridger was a mountain man, you all know about Jim Bridger. Dave and I have backpacked several time in the Bridger Wilderness and love it there. I have always loved the name Bridger and it is on my list of favorite boy names.
Gavin is doing great, he slept well last night and is nursing like a champ, he seems happy and healthy.
My parents have Arden, Alexis and Spencer down in Mesa, so I can rest. It's really quiet without them, but nice to have the break. They love their new brother and have been quite smothering and helpful.
Love Di and Gavin!

Welcome to the World Baby Lott
Yawning with Grandma Stevens!
Arden is so proud, she is being such a wounderful big sister and so happy!
Spencer was singing to his new little brother, it was so sweet to hear his little voice with all the spirit he has singing sweetly to his brother.
Alexis can't stop touching his skin, she says it is so soft!
Last ones up we took a picture before we all went to bed.
He is so beautiful!
Morning time with Alexis, just staring into each others eyes!
After a week of wishing I was in labor, Baby Lott is finally here. I almost thought that it wasn't going to happen. My parents have been here for four days waiting and I was very anxious. Born on his due date June 6, 2008, this guy surprised us all last night. I have been walking all week with my Mom and kids trying to induce labor and finally last night the walk worked. When my mom and I got home from our walk I started timing contractions at 8:02. My contractions were 2 and 5 minutes apart and lasting for a minute. I was so scared they would stop and that it would be a false labor but they didn't. I called my midwife at 8:30pm and told her to come, my contractions were strong. When I got off the phone with her I had a contraction I wanted to push through, oh no! So I got in the tub to slow down contractions. My midwife arrived around 9:10. I was fully dialated, no surprise since I have been walking around at a 5 all week! She broke my water, I pushed though one contraction, and out came the head, so I pushed again though no contraction at all and out came baby. I wanted it all over with so bad, I was serious about pushing this little guy out as soon as I could. He was born at 9:30pm in my bath tub at home with Dave, my two girls Arden and Alexis and my Mom there. It was really special to have the girls and my Mom there, they thought its was a miracle and it was! They are all beyond excited and so am I. Baby is doing wonderful and nursing and sleeping a lot. He is so adorable and even though he looks like Arden and Spencer and all of us, he had his own look. It is so nice to have my parents here, they are so helpful and so laid back, they really bring a great spirit into our house. I am so grateful for my mom and for all the moms out there, being a mom is the so amazing, and even though I say I never, never want to be pregnant or in labor ever again, I love my kids with all my heart and my family means the world to me!
